I bought a set of two printheads because my existing ones had completely quit working. The new printheads were expensive but easy to install and restored my printer to correct operation. The existing printheads only lasted about a year using HP original ink cartridges -- I hope the new printheads do better than that.

I bought this printhead because the CYAN color was not printing after we moved to a new home. After replacing the printer head the CYAN is now printing, however my Officejet Pro 8500 (a909a) will not pass the alignment test. My printouts look great, but I also get an alignment attempt page printout failure where only the top diagnal lines print. I need to find why the alignment test is now failing, but printouts are fine.
