It is great to have printer support & parts

The Support given preveted over correcting the printhead problem and kept the cost down. The replacement parts came within one business day. The problem was solved within one hour including ordering the part.

Exactly what the printer needed!

After 3 years of heavy printer use (Officejet Pro 8500), the color printouts had a faded look, page after page, but the black and white text was fine. This printerhead (and its related Black and Yellow printerhead) was exactly what needed to be replaced. Beautiful color printouts again!

I'm sorry to be writing a less than glowing review, but I've already decided that I will never purchase an ink-jet printer again...period! I'm so sick and tired of the heads clogging up on these things. The color laser printers are getting to be so affordable; and you never have to worry about a clogged head. But that's just my humble opinion about it. Everyone has to make up their own mind, but seriously, this ink jet printer is missing colors more often than not; and I've made up my mind to go with the laser printers from now on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Installation took only a minute or two. Make sure you follow the manual directions! Messing with printheads can become dicey, as evidenced by my work with my previous printer. Not rocket science, but make sure you know the steps very well before proceeding.
