No comment on the battery yet as it's at the beginning on its shelf life. Documentation on replacement for each model of UPC was well organized. It would have been better if on the product page or the UPC replacement battery selector page, there were procedures in BOLD printing to help me check to see if I have a dead battery before buying. Two people were searching the site and failed to spot it. Only after I have received the battery, do the paper instructions tell me to perform such checks. (Thankfully, it was a dying battery.) Procedure to check was on the website but to a person who has never dealt with a commercial UPS, that would not have been obvious.
Replaced batteries for our SUA2200 with very good results. Previously had tried a compatible brand, cost about 1/2 the price of the APC but had less than about 1/4 of the runtime.
Recalibrating the UPS did take quite a long time but I had excellent [e-mail] support from the APC Tech staff throughout. Several real-world test results did correctly reflect the [updated] values shown on Power Chute status. Out of curiosity, repeated the same real-world test with the compatible battery and sure enough, the battery depleted significantly earlier [i.e. runtime was about 20 - 25% of the APC-Schneider original].
Noteworthy: Pre-sales questions were addressed in a timely fashion, although one tech had "bypassed" a key point - a second covered the needed answer promptly.
Pros: High Quality, High Confidence Level in 24/7 Uptime
