Driver hangs, now incompatible with Mac Mavericks
What a terrible product. It took hours to finally get it installed, it would hand on the last 10th of the installer. Hours later it would still be trying. Finally got it to work. It was great and quick but then I foolishly upgraded to Mavericks and it can no longer find the printer and my postage is wasted. Back to multiple trips a week to the post office.

I apologize that you are experiencing issues printing with your LabelWriter 450. The LabelWriter 450 Series printers are compatible with Mac OS X. In order to print successfully with newer versions of Mac OS X (Mavericks) you need to have the most up to date version of Dymo Label Software installed, version 8.5.3. This download can be found under the support tab on www.dymo.com. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to give our technical support team a call at 877-724-8324 Monday- Friday 8am- 6pm EST.

This is the worst piece of equipment in our office. It jams constantly, form feeds too many labels, the tape that came in the box jammed the printer. We have gone through three of these and they are constantly breaking down. Guys from the help desk do not want to deal with this printer anymore..
Cons: Jams

I apologize that you have experienced issues printing with your LabelWriter 450. Based on what you have described I would recommend feeding a cleaning card (or business card saturated with rubbing alcohol) through your printer about 5-6 times. This will remove any adhesive that may be left over from your first label jam. If you do not clean it after a jam the leftover adhesive will likely cause jams in the future. Worked fine for awhile. Then I got a jam. Unplugged it to stop before it got any worse. Cleared it out. After plugging it back in, it won't do anything. Checked troubleshooting. It says everything is fine and that the problem must be with the device. I tried using it on another computer, but it was the same. The lights are on and everything seems normal. The paper just won't feed through anymore.

When I search for SPECS all I get is the size and weight of the device. What kind of company doesn't list specs for a device on their website? Mine is going in the trash.

Dymo makes some of the crappiest printers out there. It's amazing how frequent they malfucntion and how easily the break considering how expensive they are.

Our Turbo 330 has been in daily use since it was first offered by DYMO. That is many, many years. We buy labels 20 rolls at a time. Never a problem. It finally gave out today. I purchased a new 450 right away. The 330 paid for itself many times over. I have nothing but respect for any man-made device that could stand up to this usage for so may years. Long live DYMO.
Pros: Prints Fast, Quiet, Easy To Set Up, Versatile, Crisp Printing, Durable Labels, Easy Controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this label writer and labels at a perfect time . I am sold my house I am packing and needed to name each box . Amazing it so neat now instead of using a marker or pen. I am able to name each item in the boxes My family is impressed with the product so are my friends . They want to purchases the product I also show my co workers so that we can label our cables and put our names . Amazing product thank you
