Horrible product - cant find sizes, won't print - total bad experience wish i had never purchased.

On/Off switch feature would be nice

Since it is always on using electricity- you have to always be plugging in and out the plug from the machine, which is a hassel. Cost is the only reason I see Dymo not putting a on/off switch on the machine. What do you think?
Pros: Easy To Install
Cons: OnOff switch feature

Replaced the one we had. Good price ,the the place we get our program for food labeling was charging twice the amount for the same printer. This one works with the label program just fine. We at 12 employees using it each day through out the week.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's simple to set up, just download the dymo software on your computer and connect the labelwriter. Load the labels and you're ready to make your own labels. I like the sleek look of the labelwriter with matte silver and gloss black. It will look great in any office. I am pleased with the quality of this Dymo labelwriter, how sturdy it is and how easy it is to set up and start printing. Oh and the best part, it doesn't need ink or toner!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We use this for library book spine labels and for address labels for envelopes. Could not ask for better convenience or ease of use. Easy to switch out the labels to use a different size. We work in a very fast-paced media center and it has made our life so much easier to create a spine label on the fly or an address label to mail something quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Dymo 450 LabelWriter. This is an address label printer that never needs ink or toner. This printer accepts two different label types LW roll labels and D1 label cassettes. The printer is super fast and reports to print up to 51 labels a minute. You don't have to just print address labels. I use this machine after I verify ID to show visitors have been approved to enter.

No good for Act users

It took many months for the Act!2010 driver to be released in the US. Now, 3 months after that, there is no driver for non-US Act!2010 users - crazy given there are 2.8million of us. I bought on the marketing that it was Act! compatibile - but its not, now its an expensive paperweight. Oh, and the support is SHOCKING. Local dont know anything, and US support doesnt answer. Shame on you.
Cons: Compatibility issues, Difficult To Install

Poorly manufactured, Propritiary stamps?

I own a retail shipping facility and have managed them for 10 years. This is the worst product I am forced to use on daily basis. Most printer sense when their jammed and stop. Not the 450, it will just keep wrapping labels around itself until you pull the power. Then when your trying to unjam the printer, you realize that it wasn't built to be unjammed with out breaking further. To add injury to insult, unless your using WAY OVERPRICED dymo lables, they'll deny your warranty claim.

Thank you for choosing Dymo. I am sorry that you're experiencing issues with the Dymo LabelWriter 450. Based on what you have described I recommend to take the face-plate off your LabelWriter and try to loosen the adhesive with rubbing alcohol or hand sanatizer. Once the label is removed feed a cleaning card (or business card saturated with rubbing alcohol) through your printer about 5-6 times. This will clean your device and remove any adhesive that may be left over from your label jam. If you do not clean it after a jam the leftover adhesive will likely cause jams in the future.
