Not so sure about this brand anymore

I've had it for 18 months and had a lot of intermittent problems. It would work for a while and then crap out. I kept having problems with it feeding out too many labels. Now all I get are printer errors. Says printer is out of paper, printer is in error state, etc. When it actually does decide to feed labels, it feeds 5 or 6 labels at a time despite the fact I cleaned it thoroughly and did all of the suggestions online. I simply cannot get it to work anymore. And I just bought a new box of labels. Now I need a new printer. Not going to be Dymo. Not this time.

We recommend you clean the print head and roller by feeding a business card with alcohol on it in order to stop the excessive feeding that was the cause of the issue. Additionally, we recommend cleaning the printer sensors. Visit Dymo. com > Support > Dymo Help Center > LabelWriter > How to clean my Dymo printer for advanced instructions.

Furthermore, the use of generic labels can cause this issue which is why we recommend using DYMO authentic labels as they reduce issues such as misaligned printing, excessive feeding, and label jams. We also guarantee that our labels will provide you with the best user experience.

Lastly, ensure the labels are properly aligned, the perforated holes on the label should be aligned to the left side of the printer sticker facing down.

Can't install on a updated Macintosh

I've had the twin turbo for several years and it's been great. However using a Macintosh, Sequoia and the new software developed by Dymo, I've found it so far impossible to install the software in a way which will allow it to recognize the Dymo printer even though the Mac OS has no trouble recognizing it at all!
So cannot recommend this product for Macs at this time. I've tried 1.4.9.12 and 1.4.7.x to no avail.
