I have had the Dymo 450 for a couple of years now. Its just that we dont use it much. However since my wife started her new retail business we thought we would re-start the unit and loaded the software Dymo connect to her Mac Pro. Heres where the puzzle starts. It prints a few labels and then stops printing saying there is an error - label empty when in fact there is a whole spool there. switch off/switch on sometimes it comes back on, and sometimes we have to reinstall the whole software to get the thing to reset back to normal operation. Its honestly a pain. I dont think anything is wrong with the machine, but some serious issue in the software to interface with other devices
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tweaking Label Maker

It keeps tweaking out. We have had it for the last couple of years and it will not print out properly or the labels will come out with nothing on it after I typed out what I wanted on the label (simply won't print) or the labels will randomly get stuck no matter how careful we are. Horrible product in my opinion or I just got a defective product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To fix the issue, please visit dymo.com and navigate to the 'Support' section. From there, click on 'LabelWriter' and select the option 'How to clean my printer' to clean the print head, print roller, and sensors. Additionally, make sure that you are using authentic DYMO labels and that the perforations on the labels are aligned to the extreme left of the printer, with the sticker facing down.

Was perfect until the update

I've been using Labelwriter 450 Twin Turbo for about 10 years and it was so easy to use. Last year there was a software update. Now I cannot make quick amendments or paste another customers' details in quickly. Trying to switch between label sizes is another nightmare. I feel ashamed that I never wrote a good review when I was so happy for so long but since the update, a job that would take me about 10 seconds, takes about 3 minutes now. Another case of why fix it when it was not broke.

I have had my DYMO Labelwriter 450 for about 3 years now I have not had any issues with it and love the device I am looking at updating it to the 450 duel printer so I don't constantly half to change the labels.
I would recommend this to a friend!
