I am mainly using the Microwave since I do not cook. Microwave works fine, and I did not encounter any issues. I have been using it for 3 month. If I can not point out any flaws that probably means it is a good product. Time will show if it will be durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new ovens. The lines are clean cut and the performance is excellent. I have always had GE products because of thier performance and look. This one is no exception. I would have liked the price to be a little lower but doesn't everyone. However, we were willing to pay the price for what we got.

Great product with excellent features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaces a 28 year old model of another brand that was with the home when we purchased it. After extensive study we selected the GE combination wall oven/microwave. It arrived in excellent shape and took only about 1 hour to install. Some alteration of the existing cabinet had to be made because the new unit was not as tall as the old unit. A filler board was installed to close the open area below the unit. Operation has been simple to learn. Results have been great. A broiler pan was not included. For the price, it should have been. It has to be purchased separately.

Great unit - oven cooks faster than normal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced a 15 year old model of another brand that was with the home when we purchased it. Our home-owners insurance chose the model for us, but we paid a little more to upgrade to the chrome exterior. We had to alter the existing cabinet with a filler board due to the new unit being slightley smaller than the old unit. This is an easy to operate model, but I wish we had gotten the convection variety. Be aware that the oven cooks faster than most other ovens I have operated (probably about 20 over the years). Start on the underside of recommended cooking times until you are used to it, otherwise you will have lots of burned food!

Clean looking unit

Bought the GE double over to replace an aging double oven. The installers had to shim the railings under the oven to make it sit straight inside the wall cavity. GE should have used a thicker gauge steel to support the heavy oven. I guess the same comment applies to the doors as well. The doors do not have heft into them. Other than this the unit functions fine. In all what really matters to me is the reliability and longevity of an appliance. Hopefully this unit will last a while.
