Could use better control

We bought this oven as a replacement for one that went out on Thanksgiving Day. It is far nicer in appearance and features than the old one. We actually use the microwave for more than heating coffee. Since the heating elements are hidden, the heat up time takes longer and if you use an oven thermometer like I do, one sees that when it chimes at 350F the oven is not there yet. We also have a problem with the temperature from 375F up. The oven starts running hotter than indicated although it is fine at 350F or below. unfortunately there is no way to adjust this without skewing the lower settings. We compensate by setting a lower temp than called for.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice and Good looking appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no real issue other than that after 4 yrs of use the paint from the microwave start to peel. GE replaced the entire unit.

Terrible product. My microwave is chipping inside

Within a 2-3 years the microwave on this combo started chipping. The inside of the microwave is a mess, chipped all over the place. This was a replacement because the same unit in the past the microwave stopped working, the oven was perfect so we had to replace the unit, since it is a built in we had to purchase the same model so it would in the space provided. I feel this is a terrible product.

Terrible product...heat does not vent properly and microwave paint ends up bubbling and falling off (interior). Also, GE won't install this unit if hardwired.

Terrible quality

The paint in the microwave started peeling. Since it’s an integrated unit, we now have to spend thousands just because the microwave stopped working. If GE is going to respond to this review, I’d suggest it includes a refund check. This product clearly doesn’t meet quality standards when you read all the negative reviews.

how can GE sell a such bad product? the microwave failed multiple times and since it is one unit, the oven needs to go to a landfill.

Does not heat evenly. Warmer in the front than in the back. Is this normal? Should I get it serviced under warranty?
