Bought this micro/oven to replace the one that I have had for 20 years. Please with the new features and it's easy to use. Looks great in my kitchen.

This thing has done well for us. No complaints. We're by no means professional chefs but we have 3 active kids under 13 and we cook a lot. Both the oven and microwave have been working great. No complaints here.

Had this unit no more than three weeks when the motherboard had to be replaced. Not a good start! The signal sounder chooses to chirp instead of beep on an intermittent basis, the door prongs will not allow the door to close if I use the microwave over eight minutes or if the oven is on at 350 degrees, and the oven door warps when baking at 425 degrees. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only thing wrong with this product is the timer signal is way too low. Needs to be louder. Can hardly hear it.

This unit is not as good as the previous GE I had that looked very much like this one. I had that unit for 19 years and it was great. I don't like having to weigh items to use the express features of this microwave. If I had seen how the features worked during my research for a new unit, I probably wouldn't have gone with this one. My old GE unit had codes for certain items and you didn't have to weigh anything. So, I will not use the express features and just enter my own cooking time.
The oven, so far, is working good. I had to adjust the temperature, but that was minor. I haven't tried the self cleaning feature yet.

Great features, Easy!

We replaced our 1980's model GE with this new digital microwave/ oven. The cabinet had to be widened about 1/4 inch and the bottom raised about 5 inches, but other than that the installation went well. It is easy to use and very attractive. Due to the digital age that we now occupy, we did obtain the extended warranty as recommended by others in reviewers.
