I have had to have the microvaveceorked on 3 times

I bought the oven microwave combination Dec 2013, had to special order it, as the space for the built in over is smaller than usual. The previous microwave went out long before the oven did. Now it is happening again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Vastly Improved Built-in Microwave Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this appliance to replace the GE built in that was installed in 1988 that finally failed. The new oven has a greatly improved oven heating element system..(Enclosed now to make cleaning much easier without taking a chance of breaking the lower element by lifting it) Microwave and oven controls are all digital now, which opens up many more cooking/heating options.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to USE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even a complete dummy can cook using this oven. Baking is evenly done, and temperature is consistent. I love this oven, and would recommend it to anybody. The price is very reasonable, especially, for the features and quality you get.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace a 27 yr old GE wall unit, expecting the same quality - disappointed. It takes forever to preheat this oven. Cooks okay when you finally get it up to temp. You dare don't open this unit without moving back cause all the heat rushes out into your face. After cooking is over, the hot air vents out into the room (with a fan going somewhere) and makes your kitchen hot. All the controls are helpful and the unit looks great, but the problems out weigh the controls and appearance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced avery old GE combination microwave/wall oven with this model---it was the closest to the opening size. it really looks great in my kitchen. I like the simplicity of the controls. I gave four stars to the features, as I had to have a GE repair person come and fix the latch to the microwave oven. It somehow was loose---but now it is fine. I did notice that when using the oven, the heat is contained within the oven and does not heat up the surrounding walls like my older oven did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this as a replacement oven for our old outdated oven. It was just installed today and already I am impressed. Easy to use digital operations, light in the oven, heats up quickly and the microwave works excellent. I cook several loaves of bread each week and this will be perfect for five loaves. I love that it has a timed cook, a delay start and so much more. For someone who bakes, it's perfect. I love the compactness and yet it does the job. Happy baking to me!
