Washer and Dryer are great with a few exceptions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purposely bought Electrolux front loaders and overall are happy with our decision. Like other front loaders, the washer retains water even after the load is finished. The detergent drawer also retains water. If the doors are not left open, they smell bad so I wipe the rubber seals on the washer and the detergent drawer after finishing the washing.
The dryer is huge and I can fit plenty of clothes in there at one time. However, if the heat cycle isn't set to High, the clothes don't fully dry. Some clothes can't be dried on High, so they have to go through several drying cycles before they are dry enough to put away.

Burnt Wires - Glad there was no fire

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Dryer and the matching washing machine in December of 2012. The washer needed a new water pump last year. The dry heating element went out last week and when I check the electrical I saw this major short. For a high-end brand, I am disappointed by the longevity of the products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
