Great induction cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first induction cooktop and we have been using it now for about 10 months - we love it! It heats up so quickly and the nature of induction means the entire pan bottom evenly heats up which means the food is evenly cooked through.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great cooktop!

This induction cooktop has it all over the others we looked at. I love the finger touch method for regulating the heat rather than the push buttons on other brands.

Ergonomics fail

I am a plumbing professional and I installed this cooktop in my own home. The controls are all but invisible whether the unit is off or powered up. You have to get your face right down to the surface to see the controls. A little backlighting when the cooktop is on would do a world of good and now effect the sleek looks of the top when it's off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so pleased with this cooktop. We renovated our kitchen and the induction cooktop replaced a gas cooktop. Cleaning the cooktop after using a skillet with oil was tedious until the Electrolux consultant in a live chat confirmed that you can wipe the cooktop off with Windex. That works well (wait until the element has cooled). Using a splatter screen and putting parchment paper in the area around the skillet helps too. Then I use the buffing creme. The cooktop sears meat beautifully.

First one broke 6 six years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed the exactly replacement for our original Electrolux 36" induction because this cooktop has a larger cutout then others that we looked at. The new one performs the same as the old, we are hoping however, that it lasts longer before the timer and other electronic components fail. It is harder to see the control panel on this one when it is off unless your light is on directly overhead. We don't mind that.
