Elegance and simplistic beauty

We have had our Electrolux front load washer and dryer for quite some time now without issue or headache. Electrolux has proven to us that they care about quality, craftsmanship and commitment to their customers. They have done this with action and not just words. We have become loyal Electrolux customers and as a result we confidently purchased our EW36IC60LS 36" Induction cooktop for our new kitchen. We love it! It is fast, easy to clean and operate and it is a beautiful addition to our home.

Great Cooktop

I bought this cooktop to replace my gas cooktop. Gas is messy and hard to clean. Some people think that is worth it for the speed and control of cooking with gas. They have not tried induction! This thing is impressive. It changes how you cook. I look forward to trying something new. It is faster and more powerful than the gas cooktop I had. Clean up is a breeze. When a pot boils over, the contents do not cook onto the cooktop. You can just wipe them off. It cleans up like the day we put it in.
The only downside is an upside too. You will likely need new cookware.
Before we took the plunge, we purchased a Duxtop counter top induction cooktop. It exceeded my expectations. The Electrolux makes that feel like a toy.

Very nice

I'd have given 5 stars, had the controls been marked so one could see them. Electrolux has gone a little overboard, making the controls impossible to see without an overhead light shining directly on the cooktop. If they were white, instead of translucent light blue on the black background, you'd have gotten 5 stars, hands down!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we were introduced to the induction cooktop a couple of years ago. We recently moved into a new home and we just replaced the cooktop with our new Electrolux induction cooktop. We absolutely love it!

New Electrolux 36" Induction cooktop

This cooktop works well, boils water like a champ, and can hold a consistent temperature for sauces, reducing, etc. The one think I don't like about it that my old Electrolux had was it is really hard to see the controls. You have to bend down and squint to make out the cooktop control, the "+" and "-" locations, etc. To me this was a step backwards; it looks monolithic in black, but it's a lot of work to find the controls.

Works Great - Better touch controls

The induction cooktop is great compared to the old basic cooktops. Closer to gas without the trouble of gas lines. The touch controls are a bit hard to use when fingers are wet and different users have different levels of pressure and the controls take an exacting touch.
