Great tv

I have had this tv sense June 2010, it has such a great picture! When my family and friends came by and seen it for the first time, they were very impressed with the picture, they said it is so life like and it seemed like the people on the screen were siting there with them. I have had a lot of LCD TV"s in my life and hands down this is the very best!!!
Pros: beautiful picture

Great set. It runs about 10 hours a day, every day and the picture is wonderful. Clearly displays computer text and graphics as well as clear, sharp TV images. Can't complain at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lacks the right kind of ports to hook up cable, dvd & gaming consoles, but my biggest complaint is that any picture containing white gets washed out and is not visible. If I pause the screen while on a view with really white conditions, the details of the image become visible. As soon as you resume play, the white gets washed out again. Annoying.
Pros: durable tv. had it almost 7 years now. sill works.
Cons: doesn't handle white images
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best product for the money

My 47" philips tv is the best, Great picture Great sound, Great looks, When family and friends come over they ask about it. It has a great picture whether your right in front of it or at the kitchen table at an angle. I cut my cable and installed a HD antenna still great picture. I have owned it just under a year.
Pros: great value for the money
Cons: family keeps coming over to watch there fav show

The picture is amazing colors are bright and vivid. But the blacks could be a little more black. The sound is incredible. Highs are clear and I can actually feel the bass emitted from the LCD. At high volumes, there are no distortion. Wish it had picture in picture function since its such a large screen.

When in HD the picture is awesome. I need to update my dish receiver to HD then evry picture will be beautiful.
Pros: no glare from my windows
Cons: shows alot of dust being black oh well
