i have the newer version of the lg shine.This phone is ok. the bettery life is not very good i text alot so if u do i wouldnt get it. it has a good speaker but it is hard to hear if u have a voicemail sometimes. it never forze on me.i have alot of scratches on it i droped it several times and it got scratched pretty good. if u put it in ur pocket it gets alot of scratches. some times it wouldnt send the message and that got old. i wouldnt recomend this phone.
Pros: camera/video quality, ease of use, games, menus, speaker
Cons: battery life, durability

I have had this phone for about a year and I am very happy with it , I have receive many compliments on my phone but I do have one knock against the service I have and that Go phones consune to much money and I can not firgue this out I can fill my phone today and by the after noon it's time to refill again and the bad part is I am not useing the phone .
Pros: battery life, camera/video quality, durable, ease of use, games, good for texting, menus, tools
Cons: volume level

I'm surprised this phone hasn't had any reviews yet. I've heard of multiple people with this phone reporting that they had problems. It is terrible. It often will randomly shut off, and now I'm having another unknown problem with this phone causing me to get a new one (only 1 1/2 years old). If the chance, DO NOT get this phone. Not dependable. Very unsatisfied.

Cons: battery life, durability, freezes, operating system, software bugs

This phone is not a good phone. I have had it for two days and it has randomly shut off four times. It is really heavy and bulky and some of the keys are hard to push. I have to charge my battery twice a day. If you are going to use it for just calls it would be great but for texting, try a different phone.
Pros: durable, ease of use
Cons: battery life, bulky/heavy, freezes, limited memory
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i had the first shine and it was great but as soon as i could upgrade it suddenly stopped working like it had?? it started with a blob like thing on the screen, to my keys falling off, and the sim card messin up? i bet this phone is just as good, but you definately get your moneys worth!!

This phone is the best phone I've ever had. I'm thinking about upgrading but I love this phone so much, I'm not sure I want to part with it! It never has given me problems. The actual phone is a denser material which I actually like because it doesn't feel like a cheap phone that would fall apart. The only thing that is possibly not the best is the battery life. It's an average battery life...the same as most phones. I would recommend this phone to anyone!

A great phone if you don't text

I upgraded from the LG Trax CU575 which I loved. The thing about this phone that I like is the sleek design. Also, you can edit photos, add borders, take pictures in different modes and etc.Takes really good pics. Not many choices on this phone. Only has 2 themes, black and white. Good music player. When you turn the volume up loud it sounds like its about to blow the speaker. As far as text, I got this when I didnt' have text and now that I do, I am looking for another one. The buttons are tiny and when you text it takes a while because I keep hitting other buttons and I have small fingers. The buttons curve and it is hard to text. The battery does not last long. I know a lot of people have this complaint because most people leave them on charge and that runs the battery down quicker but I don't. It run down quick the first day I got it. I would probably recommend it to someone who does not have the data or messaging plan.
