I've had this phone for a year and overall it's the worst phone I've ever had. The keys are loud, it turns off randomly, and the texting on the phone isn't good. Don't get this phone!
Pros: battery life
Cons: operating system, small keys, volume level, quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like this phone, but after having it for 2 years, I will be happy to upgrade to a different phone altogether. This phone is bulky, the battery life is not all that great, the speaker phone isn't all that loud, and the keys are really small, which is not too great for texting. However, I do like the camera and video quality, and the ease of use.
My husband also has this phone, and his turns off at random times.
I don't feel like this phone is a complete disappointment, but next time around, I am looking for a phone with a keyboard for easy texting. I also like the fact that this phone flips up.
Pros: camera/video quality, ease of use, menus, Wi-Fi capable
Cons: battery life, bulky/heavy, small keys, volume level
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have the 1st LG Shine. I don't like it...it's heavy and bulky. the little joystick thing is too sensitive. My battery is still good after 2 years buyt I can't wait to get something a little more light-weight and user-friendly. I didn't have any problems with it freezing up or turning off randomly. I did drop it A LOT and it still works just fine. It's OK but I won't get another one.
Pros: durable
Cons: bulky/heavy, volume level
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone is better then other phones I have had...
i had the first lg shine and it was good at first, but then it started to stop working i have had it for a year and am getting a new phone soon. the first phone was not too great so i assume this would be the same.
I have had this phone for about a year and a half its been through alot very tough! I've droped it tossed in my brick drive way even forgot about it in my jacket and washed it for min in the washing machine and after a blow dry and a day or two it was almost as good as new. I got a memory card and an adapter for headphones and briefly used it as a mp3 player but the volume wasn't great. The battery doesn't seem to to last that long if your not using it about 3 days if you talk alot less than a day lol. the keys are awful for texting which is why I wouldn't recomend this phone to any of my friends they are flat and small and the slide part I swear actually gets in the way and the joke stick thing is constantly skiping and sending have finished texts drives me nuts. can't wait for my upgrade put if you like to toss your phone around and don't text this is the phone for you and itsw not so bad for the occasional lipstick check.
Pros: durable, ease of use, games, menus, speaker, tools
Cons: battery life, small keys, horrible for texting
