Electrolux washer

This washer is so much better than the top loader I had. It uses less water and yet the clothes are cleaner and brighter. I used the steam setting for ground in dirt. I am not rewashing clothes to get out stains. The settings are clear and descriptive. I am happy with this washer.

Good Washing Machine Except smell

i like washing machines quietness but i hate the smell it gets even the washing machine bars don't help. Washing Machine is made of good quality.Only complaint is the smell front loaders get

Works just fine

We looked at alot of reviews online, considered top-load vs. front-load, and are very pleased with our purchase. While we don't nearly use every bell & whistle (including the steam, have tried it twice & can't really tell the difference, byt it was a free upgrade when we bought this unit), the clothes come out clean, much dryer than the old style washer, and this unit is SUPER quiet - even on the crazy-fast spin cycle. Other reviews noted some soap scum left on clothers, which has never happened to us as we only us HE-rated liquids and follow the simple instructions included with the unit. Also, we did purchase the Tide brand unit cleaner & have used it once in the 3 months we have had this unit, and no funky odors have developed. We also do leave the door open until all the moisture is gone.
CON - the door could latch a little more easily, but that is our only real "complaint".
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Washing Machine

I'm very pleased with my new washing machine, however, it does have a few issues which I'd like to mention.
Cons
1. Water remains in the bleach dispenser after the wash cycle is done.
2. Door opens too easily by my dog's tail wagging.
3. Unable to leave the door ajar to air out after wash load is removed. Door must be completely open. This obstructs the walkway in my laundry room.
4. Signal is much too quiet and much too short. Would prefer adjustable volume and length.
5. Wish the display would stay lit until the door is opened after the cycle. I realize it turns off to save energy, however, I do forget that I have a load inside because of this feature.

Pros
1. First washing machine I've had that has a lighted interior. This is a wonderful feature!
2. Extremely quiet and efficient.
3. Added steam feature is beneficial when wanting to sanitize as well as the sanitize feature.
4. Enormous drum accomodates large quilts and comforters with ease.
5. Large opening is easy to load.

Really like this washer. Cleans well. Note that we always leave the door open, wipe the gasket after each use, and wipe excess water from the deterent tray.
