Worth the Price

I would recommend this washer to anyone looking for the best of the best. When we were looking we compared features and prices and looks and value. We determined that the extra money is worth the extra quality. This washer gets anything clean, has numerous combinations. We love the empty spin option to get out any old water. We have never had a issue of the washer smelling funky because of old water. It also has a option to clean the drum and water to always retain a clean smell
I would recommend this to a friend!

I truly love our IQ steam washer! It washes quickly, quietly, and can handle oversized comforters as well. It has a large selection of settings. The only thing I miss is the ability to reduce the wash time when I only have a very small load. But That is usually for delicates and there is a setting that allows for less wash time as well as delicate handling! I am very happy with this appliance.

My Dream Washer

This washing machine is like having your clothes professionally cleaned. With the steam cycle it really gets out any stains you may have. You can sanitize your sheets after visitors leave. I couldn't live without steam now. I am so spoiled with the iQ touch. It is very easy to use. It is the only washer I know that really gets your clothes wet enough and really washes everything thoroughly. I tried another brand and sent it back and am so happy with my Electrolux. It is large enough for large bedding and has quick cycles for smaller loads. Don't think twice, this is the ONLY washer to consider.

LOVE IT!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this machine. I am a nurse, so I LOVE the sanitizing cycle for my scrubs. I know they are getting clean, and the germs are being killed. This means, the rest of my family's laundry is safe. I love the large capacity. It can get so much laundry done at once that I need my husband to add more laundry lines outside:-) I do not have to go to the laundry mat to wash comforters, and it sucks so much water out of the clothes and bedding that it has cut down dryer time significantly. This washer is so easy to use and maintain; it also gives users a message to run the cleaning cycle after so many cycles to keep the washer working its best. Two tips though: keep the soap tray open when not in use. Also, keep the door open when not in use to let the inside dry out. Also, when your last load is complete. wipe off the gray rubber inside to avoid getting a brown stain on it. These are such simple things to do to keep this phenomenal washer looking and running great!

In Love with my washer

We purchased this washer in March 2011 to replace a worn out - still working top loader. My main reason for a new washer was to be able to fit a queen size comforter. We initially did not consider a front loader but after doing extensive research online, decided on a front loader. Electrolux won out over other brands because of reversible front door option. For my laundry room I needed right hinge - open to the left side. Anyway , I absolutely love love love this washer. It holds large loads, has many cycle options, saves water even if using the extra rinse option. Everything I have washed comes out clean especially the whites, and it also looks great. I do less loads because it holds so much. I'm also glad that we splurged on the pedestal even though it was a bit overpriced. Best washing machine I ever owned.

Nice features, but unreliable

I purchased this washer in April, 2012. When it works, it's great, but we've had no end of problems with it. We needed perhaps six repair calls for our first unit to correct a "water not draining error" that stemmed, we learned, either from a faulty sensor, a faulty pump, or a faulty mother board. We eventually got a replacement washer, which we appreciated, but even this has given us electronics-related issues, requiring the replacement of (yet another) circuit board. We have a fingers crossed that this one lasts . . .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love them

We bought the pair a few months ago. I can't live without them now. It would take forever to dry towel and days to get the laundry all done. Now I can do the laundry in 2 to 3 hours. I would tell all my friends to purchase this product. The front load washer cleans well and uses less water. My water bill has been reduced as well.

Great Washer

We have had the washer and dryer for just over a year. All has been great. Machine cleans really well and uses very little water. Have always used the HE detergent and have had no problems. Would highly recommend the Electrolux laundry products.
