Love my Electrolux

I have my Electrolux Washer & Dryer for a little over a year now. I am done so fast with laundry that my family looks at me completely confused. This is also my first time with a front loader and it is so much easier on my back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a great washer. We had to have te motor and the water pump changed within 6 months but it runs great.

The washer is ok we have had a lot of problems for it being 3 years old. We needed to get a control board changed often have to unplug the washer for the door to unlock doesn't always wash the load in the machine. Most recently I had to order a part for the pedistal the door will not remain closed. I thought we were buying a high quality washer and dryer not a average pair. I thought Electrolux was a top of the line brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

MY OPINION OF THIS WASHER

I PURCHSED THIS WASHER FROM THE DEALER IGREENFIELD, MA 01301.....
I HAD PURCHASED THE FRIDGIDAIRE
INFINITY PRIOR TO THIS ALONG WITH AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ( 5 YEAR)......ON THE SIXTH YEAR IT BROKE DOWN......THUS THE WARRANTY WAS USELESS AND THUS I PURCHASED THIS ELECTROLUX MODEL SHOWN ABOVE.
LUCKILY I HAVE IT IN MY HEATED BASEMENT AS THE NOISE IT PRODUCES IS VERY ANNOYING. I ALSO PURCHASED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY..
HOPEFULLY THIS WASHER WITH SERVIVE MORE THAN FIVE YEARS. WHAT I MISS ON THIS MODEL VERSUS THE
INFINITY IS
THE HOT WASH/WARM RINSE CYCLE..........I.E. EITHER I MUST CHOOSE THE HOT/COLD.......
OR WARM/WARM.
AN EXCELLENT FEATURE IS THAT ICAN PUT IN A DOUBLE SIZE SLEEPING BAG AND IT WILL WASH IT BEAUTIFULLY.
IT IS FAR BETTER BUILT THAN THE AFFINITY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS WASHER MODEL TO ANYONE THAT WOULDN'T MIND HEARING THE NOISE IT MAKES AS IT WILL HANDLE A HUGE LOAD OF CLOTHING IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THE TWO MEN THAT DELIVERED IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN TIME TO LEVEL THE WASHER. AS A RESULT I HAD TO DO SO WITH
THE WRENCH THAT WAS SUPPLIED AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF THE WRENCHE INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGING
WOULD FIT THE LEVELING "FEET" (4)..SINCE THIS WRENCH DID NOT, I HAD TO FIND A WRENCH AT HOME DEPOT THAT WAS THIN
ENOUGH TO DO THE JOB. ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, THIS WASHER DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB.

Recommend, but...

My wife and I are very pleased with our Electrolux 4.2 cu. ft. front load washer. It performs well, is quiet, handles all sizes of loads we give it and gets everything clean. We purchased the washer and companion Electrolux dryer for our new home -- we recently downsized, now that it is just the two of us. When the washer was delivered, installed and tested, it had a serious leak about midway through the cycle. I contacted Electrolux, and Customer Service was very prompt and professional in arranging a warranty service call. The leaking part was identified, ordered, and within two weeks the new part was installed. The washer has worked fine since then. fortunately, all of this happened before my wife and I moved into our home, so we didn't have to be without a washer for two weeks. All is well that ends well, and we are pleased with our Electrolux washer and dryer.

It is the "Mercedes Benz" of laundry! It's very elegant in its design and appearance. It's reliable, does the job beautifully and looks amazing in our laundry room. This washer and dryer pair is the classiest laundry pair we've ever owned!

Outstanding customer and response

Bought my washer and dryer two months ago,after doing a load of laundry last week my washer would not spin dry.I called the store I bought it from and the next day which was a Saturday a Service Tech came out looked at my washer and even took pictures of the inside,saying that this was a production problem.On Monday a new washer was delivered to my home. I did not have to go theu a million and one service calls.Great service and outstanding response time to okay a replacement washer.Will stick with this brand.
