I have this washer for about a year and a half and so far I'm very happy with how our clothing looks after washing and drying.
Perfect for washing white and heavy duty clothes. Best washer I've ever had.

It amazes us how clean the clothes get with so little water and so little detergent. The controls are easy to read. The hardest job is sorting the clothes.

I'm very happy with my purchase. I have had a number of different brands in the past and have been very pleased with the efficiency and design of my Electrolux washer. Easy to use, large enough for all of my needs and does an excellent job keeping my laundry clean. I recommend this washer to everyone!

I purchased these appliances in 2008 and have not had one problem. They are wonderful. I was hesitant to pay so much but it has been worth it. I was not aware how much more gentle, high end appliances can increase the life span of clothes, sheets and comforters. A king sized comforter fits easily inside, without being stuffed. They run quietly. I use them daily. Wonderful.

Laundry is SO much easier now!

Our ancient, mid-90s era dryer finally broke down and my husband wanted to replace it with a used $100 special from the second-hand appliance guy down the road. I had other ideas, however.
I suggested to him that we really needed to make an investment in a new, top-of-the-line machine and listed several strong reasons why it would benefit our family. He seemed unconvinced until I also mentioned that if I had a new, high-capacity washer and dryer I would be less tired at night... fewer headaches, and so forth. It took a moment, but eventually he got my not-so-subtle hints and then he was very enthusiastic about upgrading.
After a good bit of shopping, we decided that this Electrolux washer/dryer pair would meet our needs quite well. From the very first load I have been impressed with their quiet operation, ease of use, and high capacity. I do fewer loads in less time with better results than ever before.
So I am now far less tired in the evening, and my husband is a happy man.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Many great features; great washer overall

I have had this washer for about two months now, and it has done a great job washing just about every type of clothing article. I love the deep clean setting that sanitizes anything washed during that cycle; use that cycle for all bedding, towels, and underwear. It has been wonderful with removing that musty smell that forms on washcloths or towels that have been kept wet for too long before washing!
I have found 3 minor problems: 1) certain types of fabrics (satins, some shiny polyesters) turn a shade darker when I wash them using the sanitizing cycle (trim on girls tank tops, bras, etc.), 2) I often choose to add the "extra spin" setting so that my items ttake less time to dry in the clothes dryer, and 3) the machine isn't really capable of spinning things that are bulky AND hold onto a lot of water during the cycle. For example, I was able to wash one king sized microfiber blanket, but not two microfiber blankets at the same time. Both blankets easily fit into the washing machine without forcing them in, but the type of material holds onto sooooo much water that the machine was unable to spin the water out of the blankets. I had to remove one of the two blankets in order to finish the spin cycle. I also had a similar problem when washing throw pillows from my couch.

So far, so good

This is my second washer in 9 months. The first one had so many issues, the repairman was at my house twice a month, the machine worked 2/4 weeks a month. After much pleading, crying, fighting, I got my machine replaced with the same model. So far, so good. It washes quietly, uses little water (still trying to figure out how clothes get clean this way), and overall a good machine. It's beautiful to look at and will compliment any space. It has a huge drum where I worry I overload it-- but that has not happened yet. Overall, if I didn't have the lemon taste from the last machine in my mouth, I'd be raving about this machine today.
