Overall, we are very please with our washer and its features. The one thing that is not good is the way the washer drains. We are constantly having to dry the inside rubber liner, with some discoloration around the rim that meets the metal tub seemingly unavoidable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going on 2nd month. Wife has to get use to "less water" than our previous front load washer. Sometimes, she adds water during some cycles. She plans to call your rep to learn more.

This washer is well worth the money!
I can wash our queen size comforter and pillow shams in this washer. It uses very little water and energy and does not make a lot of noise when in use. We also purchased the pedestal and are glad that we did. We have ours on ceramic floor tile and it does not walk across the floor!
We are very pleased with the product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The door has to stand open or you get a nasty oder. In a multi-use upstairs laundry room this is not possible.
The dial knob is a royal pain to use. Push button is much faster.

Do Not Purchase Electrolux

This machine has spent more time broken than operating. I am a very mechanically inclined person, and I cannot solve the current problem. I have actually stumped two technicians with the problem this machine is having. The icing on the cake is I cannot get Electrolux to allow me to speak to technical support.

I needed a new washer because my second Maytag Neptune died. Chose the Electrolux because of it's depth measurement (to fit into my laundry room). So far I love it, but my only thing you should fix is the door. It remains fully open, or totally closed when not in use, not just ajar. So, I really dry everything, door, gasket and tub, let it dry, and then close the door. So far, no odors! I really like the steam function, towels get clean and no odors remain!!!

I had such high hopes for this washer! The features seemed fantastic and it functioned well...for a year. During a wash cycle (sheets) the inner glass door shattered, ruining the tub and basket and needed $900 in repairs! Luckily we had an extended warranty, but after another 2 months a belt broke and again damaged the drum and basket, needing another $800 in repairs! The warranty company decided to just replace the machine, however we will NOT be purchasing another electrolux appliance! Not only was this a HUGE inconvenience, but Electrolux parts are rarely in stock and repairs are costly! Would not recommend this washer/dryer set to anyone unfortunately!
