Best Washer I've Ever Owned

This washing machine gets clothes cleaner and it's quieter than any washer I've ever owned. I wash everything from down comforters to heavily soiled jeans to cashmere sweaters and everything comes out perfect.

Electrolux Machines

These new machines will be the best investment I have made in a long time. I was so excited to get them, now that I have I wonder why I waited so long to purchase them. They are easy to use and my clothes look cleaner and they come out of the dryer without needing any touch-up. My son purchase his machines first, he highly recommed them to me, and I'm so glad I listened. I have never enjoyed washing clothes so much as I do nowj. Love, Love, Love.

My first front load washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had owned several top load washers and avoided front load washers because I thought the only way to clean clothes was with a lot of water and an agitator. Boy was I wrong. The Electrolux does a fantastic job and saves water. Glad I chose Electrolux.

Washer irritations

Water sits on rubber flange inside door
Doors on Washer & Dryer are difficult to close with normal push, they will only close when pushed gently on button!

softner problems

Ive had my washer and dryer since Oct. 09 had a problem with the softner not dispensing and they sent out a serviceman in July of 10. Worked for a while and now the same problem the fabric softener will not dispense. Ive cleaned the washer and the drawer the soap and softner go in but it will not dispense. I guess paying more for something doesnt always mean you will get the best.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We needed a washer and we looked at all the other front loaders and this one is at the top. We haven't had a proble,m wit and it washed great. Our next purchase will be the dryer to match the washer.

Disappointment for the money we paid

This high end washer (and matching dryer) was recommended by the owner of the appliance store. Both the washer and dryer have doors that often won't close even after two or three attempts. The tray for the liquid detergent sometimes is filled with water which has to be dumped before proceeding with the next load. There are lots of combinations of washing and drying. However, if you want to use the steam feature, trust me, there are only a couple settings that are available. When we have used the steam setting, there has been no noticeable difference in softeness or wrinkle release. Because this is a front end washer, it is important to keep the door open. However, unlike the last front end washer we owned, the door on this one swings open 90 degrees. It is impossible to have it open a few inches. The vibration level is at a minimum for most clothing items. However, if you put sheets and towels together in a load, there is very much vibration noise. It does use less energy and water and the capacity is enormous. But otherwise, this is less than a stellar product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
