I am pleased with it, the only thing i do not like is it does not have a light i can hit and see what is inside and if it is browning properly. Was disappointed at that feature not being there.

The best choice!

We had a GE cabinet oven for over 20 years and it was working the same as the day we bought it, believe it or not, never a repair. The appearance was black and we now wanted to switch to stainless steel, our only reason for changing it. The cost was good since we paid just a little more now than we did twenty some years ago, amazing. No I don't work for GE and I wasn't paid to write this. It's just a good appliance.

Great Oven

This new GE oven is performing as I expected it. I did my homework and read numerous reviews on various websites before purchasing. As with other reviewers, my only "con" is that there is no light except when you open the door, but it's a minor fault. Great looks and easy to use.

Very disappointed

This oven was recently installed in kitchen renovation. I was shocked with the noise from the fan and the fact that this loud fan stays on for at least 45-60 minutes after oven is turned off. I realize that the new ovens need a fan to cool them, but this noise is excessive. You cannot sit at the kitchen island and have a conversation.Also, you cannot turn on interior light from outside, therefore you have to open oven door to check food. I had my old GE wall oven for 30 years and that is why I bought GE, however I would definitely not recommend this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This unit works fine & no problems so far. It's quiet and looks nice in black. There are two short comings that would have improve our satisfaction: 1) there is no external switch to turn on the light inside the oven and 2) there is no read out of the temperature as the oven heats (it just says pre). Overall for the money it was a pretty good value.

My oven was installed yesterday and I am pleased with it, even thought I only tried it once. My main concern was a review about having to open the door to get the light to come on. That sounded to me counter intuitive and it would be, if it didn't work so well. YES you do have to pull back slightly on the handle to get the light to work but you only pull back enough to engage the light switch.
I would recommend this to a friend!
