Nice oven

Very even cooking. The unit is very easy to clean. Fits in nice with our older GE appliances. And most important, my wife is happy.

We bought this unit approx 6 months ago and it has been perfect. It is only lacking a switch to turn the light on inside the oven when you are using it

Consistent Appliance

We had some troubles initially. There was a loud rattle upon installation. The GE mechanic came out and couldn't tell what was wrong with it. He assumed the fan, and ordered a new one to be shipped to me. He then installed it a few days later. He said there was nothing wrong with the original fan once he removed it, but I haven't had any rattling noises since the new one was installed. I was skeptical that this oven would be any good since we had these problems right from the start, but I've been happy with it's production. One other comment: it seems to cook things much quicker than recipes call for - so I've learned to minimize the time. Not sure if that's because it's so new or not?

Not worthy of the GE name

Very disappointed in this product. No interior light unless door is open, exceptionally slow pre-heat cycle, steam cleaning feature worthless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

warm up time

The oven looks great, and cooks fine, but with the hidden heat coils it takes far to long to warm up We would rather have the exposed heat coils and clean around them. Also, not having an oven light switch is annoying, you have to open the oven door to look at the food. That causes heat loss, and a blast of hot air in your face.
I would recommend this to a friend!
