Oven without an on/off light switch?!

We purchased this oven for our new home. After reading the manual and using it a bunch of times we found out it has no inside light to turn on without opening the door. Totally pointless! Why would you make an oven with a window without a light that can be turned on with it shut? This is a very basic feature that even the lowest of low end ovens have. Even my mom's 40 year old oven has an on/off switch that can be operated with the oven closed. Now we have to pay extra to upgrade to a different oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Prolonged preheat

We have only used maybe 3 times but preheat seems to take awhile, also no light switch to view while cooking.

We bought this wall oven three-months ago and love the look. Previously had a similar unit (white) that we replaced with stainless. We stayed with this brand because we had no problems with the old unit but needed to update the kitchen. Love the multiple broiling coils, makes broiling much more even. My only complaints would be that there is no way to illuminate the interior light without opening the oven door. An external light switch would be nice.

Purchased the oven to replace an older one during kitchen remodel. It is easy to use, saves energy and cooked foods offer the ability for great plate presentation.

After shopping around, I found what I considered, and still consider, the best replacement for the 50 year old electric wall oven that had become unreliable. The installation was easily performed by a handyman I hired.
