Annoying buzzer on open door; too long clean cycle

Initially, we really liked this oven; however, two problems are annoying. First, the too-long programmed clean cycle damaged control module. It had to be replaced. We were advised to clean only for a two-hour period. Then, the oven door makes an annoying warning noise if left open, even if I'm just checking on a dish or turning a roast chicken, for instance. To avoid this, I have to remove the item, address the cooking, and then return the item to the oven. That is inconvenient.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Oven!

I had to replace a 15 yr old oven. Knowing I wanted to replace old appliances with stainless steal appliances, I researched and compared wall ovens. The GE Convection Single Wall Oven had good reviews and was reasonably priced. I was concerned with some reviews that mentioned a loud fan motor but I do not notice the sound with my oven. It is slow to preheat. I am pleased with my purchase. It looks great installed in my white cabinet.

I bought this oven a few months ago and I love it. I baked for two days, ALL day (getting ready for a house warming for my parents) the day after my husband and I installed it.
Only con is I wish I could select the broil temperature like I could one my old oven.
