Super clean clothes every time

Super large loads make towels, sheets and even comforters a breeze. The steam feature helps loosen oil and dirt in work and play clothes. The sanitize feature is great for making sure that towels look and smell fresh and new. The down side is that the sanitize and/or steam features take a LONG time (up to 2 hours) to wash so all that clean takes a while to achieve.Overall I love this machine.It looks cool enough you can leave the laundry room door open. It's quick and easy to put in soap, bleach, ect. The controls are clearly marked and easy to use and the tumblefresh option is the BEST feature on any washer I've owned. No more rewashing because of that no-so-fresh smell when you can't get clothes out right away.

Meets my expectations

So far this washer has been better than my 25 year old front loading Westinghouse it replaced although I doubt this will last as long. It is easy to use after you read the manual and get used to the layout.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Product

Electricity Bill and Water Bill reduced ,Washer has a Silent mode , Works great ,Noticeable difference to clothes , much cleaner .Very glad I made the Purchase ,Note I bought the Drawer / Pedestal , I thought it was a little Expensive , but I am glad i got it , the extra height is helpful when loading/Unloading

This machine is poorly made

For the first year this machine worked fine. At 16 months, the spin cycle started making horrendous noise. Checking the internet it appears the repair is extensive and expensive. The drum is loose which is indicative of a bad rear bearing. My machine has the dryer stacked on it and was installed in a closet. In addition to needing the repair I will have to get both machines disassembled and reinstalled. I haven't used the steam options because an error code appears. I am very unhappy with this machine. I think that a machine that is used in a normal manner should not fall apart has this one appears to be doing. I thought I was making a good decision by switching to Whirlpool but it appears I was wrong.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Effective, reliable and efficient

I bought this Front Load Washer after my old one stopped working. I had never owned a Front Load washer In the past. It works amazing. It is quiet and is economical both on water and electricity. As for the brand "whirlpool", well I guess you just can't go wrong with it. Great purchase.

Great unit with typical issues

We purchased this washer, not expecting perfection, but expecting it to be a machine that might have issues. In fact, the machine arrived with the wrong electronics unit in it, causing an error when we tried the "Whites" cycle. We called Whirlpool and they were great about fixing it (still waiting on the part). But again, we expected issues.Other than that, the washer is fantastic so far, washes well, is quiet (as long as it is balanced well), and does a great job washing our clothes and saving water.We are excited for 10 years of good use out of this washer.
