I am an administrator at a group home and in charge of purchasing many appliances. The only washer/dryer we have purchased in years is Whirlpool. That must say something.

My washer and dryer are stacked and work well. Like the full sized capacity in my small space. Exactly what I expected from whirlpool.

Wow, laundry made easy. I love this washer and dryer set. It is very user friendly and has many options to choose from. I find that the white cycle makes the clothes amazingly white and always come outsmelling so fresh. My laundry time has been cut in half at least with this pair. Drying time is about half of what my old set use to be and I can get many more loads done in a day. You can always add additional time if need be and it lets you know when the washer and dryer have completed their cycle. I have not found any cons to this set.

Great unit. I like having the knobs and buttons on the unit as that helps with having everything electronic as the boards don't last more than 3-4 years without having to be replaced. I think the combination of the knobs and buttons is perfect and easy to use.

how do things clean with so little water

I always feel like things are not getting clean when I watch them tumble around stuck to each other. At times have thrown in a bucket of water to assure myself and untangled clothes. If I had to do over again would have bought the whirlpool top loader. they do make great machines.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whirlpool Front Load Washer

We were unsure of the new front loaders. The 3.8 Duet Steam provided to be a wise choice. It washes clothes with considerably less wate and soap. It also extracts most of the moisture on the spin cycle which makes the dryer more efficient and requires a lot less electricity to dry the clothes.All-in-all I rate this machine as excellent
