I really like turbo tax. exception is if you are using it online - not from a box - the rebate does not get approved. I sent everything it asked and it still said it was not valid. The 2nd thing is - that pin it asks for to efile. there has to be a better way if you are doing taxes for someone who can't remember their pin and does not have their previous years taxes available.

Not the same as the old Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax to do multiple returns each year for years. This year when I went to do my dad's return - his is fairly simple - all the prompts that I was used to being able to view are no longer there. When I went to go back and look at the return that would be filed, I literally had to print it to be able to view the entire document. In the past, you could pull up what would be filed without having to weed through all the supporting documents. One of my main objections this year is the way that they prompt you through each category. It defintiely did not get a thumbs up for being user friendly on the Basic version. I would have given the old versions a 5 each year. This one gave me a headache.
