Last year seemed easy to use. This year was difficult to go to forms. It seemed to be complex to use. I doubt if i will use it again.

This tax solfware has such detail information relative to taxes that one might be able to find his or her situation more accurately and much quicker than other methods such as the tax guide book. The problem I have with this product is finding that information which pertains to my specific situation. Additionally, the program encourages the wast of paper by not allowing one to print specific pages alone.

Screwup Somewhere

Despite having all the information double-checked, the return was rejected due to my spouse's date of birth. The DOB is correct, so I'm not sure if it was the software or the IRS that is in error. I'm leaning toward government error.

I have used turbo tax for years and have liked it.
I didn't like the confusing wording on the consent form that makes you think that it is an official government form.
Beware, it is a form giving Turbotax the right to use your data for their own use. I had to read it twice before I figured it out. Very tricky wording. I'm sure a lot of people sign it thinking it is an official form. I would have given it a higher rating except for that.

Pretty Rough

Not impressed with this years version. User interface not intuitive. Really screwy steps to login to account and pay for state transmission. Didn't find the help very helpful. Been using Turbotax for probably near a decade, and this was the least impressive version.

A very good program

This was my first year using Turbo Tax. I am a young adult and in previous years my mom has prepared my taxes for me. In the last two years I moved out, got married, and had a baby. Turbo Tax was so easy to use. I've been so afraid of doing taxes I thought they were hard but this program made preparing and filing for my husband and I super easy! Thank you!
