We filed jointly this year for the first time and turbo tax made our experience so easy! Our taxes are a bit complicated...we needed a schedule C and had a number of different jobs throughout the year, but Turbo Tax simplified the entire process. We just pointed and clicked until we were done. hooray!

Very confused

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and each year it is changed but not for the better. I feel my return is inaccurate but sent it anyway. I will wait for the IRS to decide.

Not Happy at all

There is a bug with importing state estimated tax. Payments that were made in the next year are not shown, but asked for. They are automatically entered, however, in the worksheets. So if you fill in the blank form, it duplicates it.
After doing all the wonderful checking, it comes up with a new error as soon as I try to submit the form. It had me fill in an explanation for an IRA deduction that was shown on form 1116 foreign tax credit. Turbo tax should have known what this field was and it certainly shouldn't not have waited until submission time to flag it.
