Annoying Quest for More $$$

I only need the Basic version, but the software kept annoying me with prompts to upgrade to Deluxe. Will not use in 2011 if this occurs again. Software relatively easy to use, but returning to a previous topic is not as easy as it could be.
TurboTax led me down a path - unbidden - that would have erroneously have me paying estimated tax payments for 2010 that are not required. This should be a clear step in the step-by-step process, not something I had to discover by accident.

Easy of Use

TurboTax is a great product which I've been using for several years. It takes the drudgery out of filing taxes. Great product. I'm a big fan.

You don't have to be a genius to use this. All you have to do is answer the questions, and you'll be e-filing in the blink of an eye.

box 12cM on W-2 in error

Box 12cM caused me no end of grief. It shows UNCOLLECTED social security; your program treats it as COLLECTED social security. Since I had wages in excess of $106,800, i had to put a $0.00 there to prevent the program from refunding me the uncollected social security.
Also Box 12cN has the same error. I had to pencil in $10 of medicare tax, since there was no way to make the program handle this correctly.

Deductions

This program is excellent at helping figure out all of the different types of potential deductions that are available. unfortunately, it did not help me clearly understand how to figure out if i received an economic recovery payment so unfortunately, I said I received it because I was not sure and did not know how to find out. As a result, my taxes were rejected and I had to call the IRS to find out that in fact I had not received this payment. then I had to change this information on my tax return and re-file.
