Excellent Tax Software

First time I've done my own federal tax returns in over 15 years. Saved over $200 not using my tax preparer. I will most certainly use this software for my 2010 tax filings.

Always loved the intuitive nature of TurboTax and the ease of switching from the interview to the forms view for easy overrides and shortcuts... 2009 version... seems like Intuit decided to emphasize marketing over ease of use. Not always easy to type directly into a form. ... Seems like every 3rd or 4th click you have to let Intuit know you don't want to upgrade ($$) to some "premium" product. For shame... How to ruin a great product! Will not automatically renew as in past years.

Good program, too much selling

I like Turbo Tax and I have used it for some years. Each year I think they try harder to sell me additional services or software upgrades that are not necessary. The basic version handles my returns well, complete with investment income, dividends, capital gains, what have you. I understand their desire to increase revenue, but I get irritated when I get "pitched" several times as I use the basic program. I see these as a hindrance and an irritant and I do not appreciate them.

I never used TurboTax before but I am so glad I started this year! It was very easy and gave me the most money back I have ever gotten during tax season!
