Last Year Was Better

I thought last years was better set up. I because confused in several places and had to really look around to find what I needed to input. Also in the display forms area the Schedule D forms had blank lines in the listings.

Make Life Easier

I had a number in my return that was not consistent with the information I had entered. I tried to edit. But after putting in the correct numbers two more times it still showed an incorrect number. I tried to find an explanation for why the number had been adjusted but could not find anything that would explain the difference between what I entered and the number that showed up in the return.

Tried to amend a return I already sent in and it sends me into this continuous loop of nowhere. I missed deductions for home improvements ($12,000) worth and wanted to amend my return. I already e-filed and it was accepted by the IRS. I sent a check for the amount due, but it would be lower with this deduction that I missed. Do I have towait for them to cash my check and then file an amendment?? Not at all that impressed with an Intuit product, think I will just hire a professional next year

Overall, the program itself was good. Due to the above listed "con" I copied the numbers on a hard copy of the form and sent it "snail mail." I needed to amend my return, I am trying to do that electronically.
