Good for Home Accountant Gurus

You have to keep up with computers these days to do anything.anymore and all the internet marketing, passwords etc. it's just getting way too involved and not as user friendly. I finally got to E-File this year. We usually have too many forms, itemized deductions etc. Glad the Federal E-File is free...how about the state this next year. If we have to spend all this time doing taxes every year why not make it faster and simpler and not charge for E-Filing or drop the rate to something more comparable to US Mail so we can start saving paper, ink, and more time. Maybe the Gov't should pay Turbo Tax for returns that are E-Filed?? Wouldn't that save the Gov't a lot of money too rather than handling all the mailed returns? Can't Turbo Tax and the IRS start working together to make things simpler. Maybe the IRS should just provide a free filing website for all...no offense Turbo Tax but your Intuit programs need to keep the "KISS" motto in mind: Keep It Simple Stupid. Sorry but most people just don't have time at home or work these days for all these whisles and bells! Seems like we are treading in concrete and can't get anything done these days. Everyone I talk to feels the same, just too many complications with everything going through the computer now. It's taking up too much personal time and there's not enough time anymore for fun and recreation.

to elaborate some changes get the same effect but take s few more steps. Where some changes from year to year are made they do make things easier. been
using TURBO TAX for twenty some years even before Intuit got involved love it ...love it..... great
