The only thing that would keep me from using Turbo Tax again is the fact that next year I can probably use the free online service, if all the information can be exported to it.

Somewhat Cumbersome

I find the program somewhat cumbersome if you are familiar with tax return preparation and just want to enter your information. You have to go through a lot of unnessary steps to get to where you need to be. I also had a lot of trouble with imported data. Shares of stock did not import, so I overrode the description to include shares. However, the overrides prevented e-filng, so I had to erase overrides and manually inptu in shares a second time.

401K Rollover mix

I had a 401K Rollover that split into an IRA and a Roth IRA. The instructions were not clear - something like was this rolled over into a Roth IRA. Yes, but only partially (the smaller portion). I did not know whether to say Yes or No.

Best Tax Software

Even though I kept submitting the same error on my federal tax forms, I was eventually able to correct the problem with the assistance of the help prompts after my taxes were rejected by IRS. I will continue to buy Turbotax for all my IRS filings because its easy to use even for someone like myself who is still technically challenged in this day and age.
