Great software with one problem

We had a continuing problem with trying to save what we had completed so far by clicking File - Save. The program would immediately close, causing us to have to recover our file. The only way we could save our information was to click X, and it would ask if we wanted to save, and we would answer Yes, and then it would close. Other than that the program is great ! We have used Turbo Tax for years, because we like its ease of use, full explanations, the highest refund, and doesn't cost much either.

Very good, annoying advertisements

Doing my taxes with TurboTax was quick and simple, as usual. The explanation links are also very helpful, particularly for those of us that find ourselves in the AMT twilight zone. Unfortunately, the adverts for this advisor or that state tax module are annoying as usual as well. I live in Texas which has no state income taxes. Please don't ask me about filing my state taxes multiple times. A quick question at the start on whether I earned income in more than one state would save me the trouble of clicking through multiple screens later. Not a big deal, but not a big programming job either.

WHEN I GOT TO THE END, I DID NOT HAVE TO GO GRAB THAT CREDIT CARD AND ENTER THOSE NUMBERS. SMART TURBO TAX PROCESSING INCLUDED THOSE E-FILE CHARGES IN THE PRODUCT PURCHASE PRICE. MADE ME FEEL GOOD WHEN I JUST HAD TO PUSH THE GREEN BUTTON TO SUBMIT THE TAX RETURN.

Smooth performance as always

Each year I am able to gain a better understanding of the tax process and reduce the amount of time it takes to file thanks to Turbo Tax. I switched one year to another software and had a horrible experience and had to redo my taxes with Turbo Tax anyway.
