Same old problem

Turbo Tax or IRS doesn't recognize Principal Life Insurances ID number. I confirm with Principal that the numbe was correct. Yes, you have the correct ID number. Called Turbo Tax and talked with two people, neither resoved the problem.

Got The Job Done

1. Easier ability to navigate.
2. Buy an upgrade? - After hours doing taxes, I don't want to spend time deciphering a screen to see if I need to fill it out or decide its just an ad for a TT upgrade.
3. Retain Past Input - When going into different areas to update information, it would not retain information that I had already input from previous sessions (mainly the radio button selections). That was bothersome to have to click in that same info (for example, home mortgage)
4. What are the limits? - Think it would be helpful if TT could figure out the limits for deductions especially those based on % of AGI. That would save me time deciding whether or not to input what I have for items.
5. Printing return - why all the extra pages? I just want the bare bones - when I tried to print out just the 1040, I also got a tax worksheet printed.
