Worst Year EVER

I have used TurboTax for several years and have found it helpful except for 2009. After checking for errors I tried to submit electronically. A message said they needed more information and as I tried to complete the request, the return submitted without my being able to edit. In one section my income was doubled and now I'll have to submit an amended return - which I have tried to do but it keeps taking me in a loop to no where. I'd rather pay an accountant than put up with this heartburn!

Not only paying for state taxes but additional cost for e-file. Next year going back to tax preparer.

I had to search for items that were not displayed or explained as well as last years. I seams as though the wagon has lost some of its wheels. I likes last years presentation better.

If you keep good records and don't have anything truly unusual about your return, TurboTax Basic works very well. It is reliable and efficient.

Good Product

I had a problem installing the program. Got message that said windows installer wasn't working. After some difficulity I was able to install the program. On updates I wasn't able to install all downloaded updates. This may be a problem with installer. I didn't need the updates however.

Fine except for one glitch

We tried every way possible to get to the Schedule C form to enter business expenses, etc. It sounded like many other people had the same problem. One suggestion finally worked - editing the home office.
