Solid Product

The ability to upload information from last year's return is, in itself, a reason for using TurboTax. The process of walking through the items from last year and editing them is a significant labor saver. I like the ability to see what I did last year without having to dig out last year's return to compare. The ease of adding new information and changing or deleting items from last year is a plus. The whole program is complete and the sequence of working through items is just what I need. I like organization and sequential process for things like tax filing. TurboTax gives me consistency, order and a comfort that my organized files fit right into the filing process.

A bit more tedious this year

TT still has a ways to go in automating items to make this even easier. For example:
I have a K-1 from a partnership that has the same selections every year and every year TT asks me to re-enter all the same info. If you can pull in personal info from prior year why not do it with K-1s? If you are worried people aren't really going to check closely, preload the info and make them put a check mark next to each item after they verify it.
