I live in Florida, There is no income tax return in this state. The program keeps prompting me about state returns. As soon as I put in personal information you should know that I do not need to file a state retuen.

Turbo Tax easily steps you through the Federal filing experience almost painlessly. I say that because I'm getting a modest refund. Had I wound up owing more taxes I might have had a different opinion (lol).

pretty good for confusing returns

I admit I have a confusing return, with several sources of self-employed income, plus 2-3 w-2's per year.
TurboTax is definitely helpful. I'd like to see it group my income and deductions by source in a report or summary. Right now, I'm not really clear whether it attributed my deductions to the right income source. I actually find the tax forms themselves more logical and as easy. The big difference is if I make a mistake in TT, I can just backspace, while the forms are paper. So TT has the advantage. But I really think it should offer summaries by income-source. If it did that, the outcome would be more transparent.

annoying visa card

I resented the push to use the visa card. At times it appeared there was not another option especially if you are not pretty computer savvy. I think this adds to the confusion of what is already an irritating and confusing process. I hope you will not do the same next year.
