No Sweat

Tax instructions are Greek to me -- very confusing. With Turbo Tax, I simply answered questions, keyed in the appropriate information and filed my return. This saved me a lot of befuddlement and stewing over whether I filled out the form correctly, forgot something or whatever. I'm very grateful for Turbo Tax. It's the best money I ever spent..

Texas and Taxes

I love using Turbo Tax; however, there is a problem I encounter every year. I live in Texas, and we do not have a state income tax. I have to wade through several questions about whether or not I want to file my state taxes, even though I have listed my address as being in Texas.
It would be quite nice to have the software recognize my Texas address and bypass all the state income tax stuff.

Missed some stuff

It failed to transfer one of my schedule K-1s from federal to state and I had to enter it by hand in the state return. Really sloppy!!!!

1) Results appear correct but not complete from my poiint of view because it does not include previous tax loss carryforward from previous years and no report of current tax loss carryforward as basis for my 2010 planning and investment decisions.
2) Since I am an octogenarian and own no real estate, I am a user of std deduction; your urging to buy your premium Turbo Tax is offbase and unecessary.
3) TT controls are inconsistent, some obsecure, and seem to encourage mistaken choices to use more of your services which are uneeded, as an annoying factor.
4) I dislike small entry windows like this one.
5) This form ID's me as a single but I was recently widowed.
6) An average rating is mistakenly computed by you as being a 3 of 5 approval, which is cribbing and stacking the rating report, which I dispise.
