Improved TurboTax
on April 9, 2010
Posted by: bropkirk
All data is added based on the questionnaire and is not easy to check on the forms. There was no question about Medicare deduction from social security in the questions but is a specific item in Schedule A. The questionnaire format was so easy that I was concerned about missing some detail.

worst purchase ever

I have been useing turbo tax for many years. It started out being very user friendly . It has progresively worse and has become more about getting the person useing it to try and spend more money with your company.you are charging more money for your product at tho point of purchase and including less services with the program unless the purchaser wants to pay more to get them. I will be useing another tax program next year. this is my last experiance with turbo tax..

I bought Turbo Tax since last year, I did my own taxes and had to redo it via the IRS three times. I trust Turbo Tax.

AMENDED RETURN
on March 5, 2010
Posted by: angel62
I tried to amend my return and not sure if it was done correctly. It was confusing. I first opened the old return, saved it to a new name, made the adjustments and followed the instructions to "Federal Taxes" tab and selected Other Tax Situations & selected Amend a Return. The amended return shows the new refund amount but it does not show that I already received a larger refund and need to pay the difference.
