Using Turbo Tax Basic, it did not ask all the questions needed for our home day care, such as number of hours spent in the business, for calculating the percentage of home expenses applicable.

Mixed bag

On my schedule C, an error message stated that my efile would not be accepted with an override of an amount. But I didn't have an override of an amount; I had a override of the company name. I subsequently made changes to company name without override.

Great Program!

I am a (spoiled) grad student and I am used to having my parents help me with taxes. I was using the 1040EZ in the past, but last year I had to cash savings bonds for tuition and thought I would need my taxes done by someone else. We bought TurboTax for the first time this year and it has simplified everything! I barely needed help filing taxes and I will definitely use this product from now on!

had trouble finding the 'basic' verson, as everyone advertises the more expensive program. In past years, TurboTax used to compare the data from my form to the nations average. Also, used to do a 'red flag' check to see if one of my enters would raise a red flag at the IRS.
