Turbo Tax Helpful

Once again, turbotax worked well. My only criticism would be that for couples that are married filing jointly, the program should state explicitly that for electronic filing the couple shares the same PIN.

Last year's forms, and other previous year's, were much easier to do. I would not have continued to use TurboTax for 12 years, if it had been this complicated!

Questionable value

The software is adequate but contains confusing entries. Deduction recommendations are useless.
When taxes are due the prgram recommends and prints estimated tax payments which are not necessary.

Straightforward

I filed electronically, and luckily it was rejected due to an error on my part, then I had the chance to do the return again and this time i included my $5040 expense of a new heat pump which gave me a $1500 tax credit. Using the Standard Deduction does not allow you to get this credit.

i better not be charged twice for this service, the main problem was i did not have my w-2 from last year. hopefully it goes thru this time. because when someone gets mad and no one to talk to it becomes a bigger problem. i believe in K.i.S.S keep it simple stupitt
