Wrote my comments previously, but they disappeared. Why? They were pretty good comments. Just don't keep trying to upgrade me. Can't afford it right now. I'm retired and on a fixed income.
However, it was brilliant how you helped me account for an extremely small (less than $500) worth of stock bought and sold on Basic. That makes me definitely recommend Turbo Tax to other retirees and family members. Just keep making it easy and clear to upgrade or not to upgrade as different persons's situations require.

I lik turbo tax and the fact that it suggests what it thinks is the best selections for you. If you don't have at least some working kowledge of the tax laws you won't know if it is the best advice. Sometimes I've had to change it's suggestions but overall it is perfect for do it yourselfers

I used Turbo Tax once before, before most people had access to the internet and long before e-filing. The disk was all inclusive, no updates available. I've not used it since, I guess this was in 1994. Because I did not have internet access aside form work.
This has been the best and by far the least expensive option for filing taxes, you can bet i'll be back next year for my 2010 taxes!

I've been using TurboTax for at least 15 years and this year's version is the easiest-to-use yet.
If I could find a complaint, it's that when I go back to check a page -- eg: a 1099r entry -- I have to then go through all the following pages on that 1099r before I can get out of the "edit."
But allowing rough estimates of my deductions to help decide if the standard deduction is best, saves time.

Overall, turbotax is the easiest and most efficient program to use. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.
