Another great year

This is the 15th year in a row I've used TurboTax, and it just keeps getting better. I retired in 2009, which presented a slew of tax issues involvinig 401(k)s, IRAs, distributions and the like. Yet TurboTax took it all in stride, guided me safely through the IRS maze and made this tax season a real pleasure, even though I ended up owing.
I tell anybody who cares about TurboTax and encourage them to use it.

Many problems this year

Turbo Tax needs to do more testing before releasing this program to the public. I had issues with each income tax I filed. One I had to delete and start all over because of the problems. I may go back to HR Block next year because of this year's issues. On line help was useless as well.

Easier than ever

Turbotax has been my tax product of choice for more than 10 years and this year's program has proven to be the quickest to complete a return , ever. The language is simple, the descriptions complete and the e-file was free. I can't say enough about this great product, nor would I ever consider changing to another tax program.

This years software did not seem to flow as smoothly as past years. It was very stressful to use. The way the deductions and refund calculator operated together made it difficult to determine the refund amount. I found myself going back and forth to ensure I had entered the correct information, multiple time.
