Not the best purchase ever

Your product is very easy to use which I greatly appreciate. The cost is a bit high. I understand the strategy (give away the federal and help make up the cost with charging quite a bit for the state) and I realize that with your proprietary software, you have to make up the cost of R&D and staffing and additional overhead, but to charge $70 to calculate and efile is a bit high. I appreciate the convenience, but basically I am doing all the work and using your pre-set formula fields. I can drop off my W-2's to a local tax preparer and pay $40 to do both federal and state and not have to lift a finger. I won't pay the high price next year as I did this year. You have a great product, but the calue isn't there. I really believe it would behoove your company to lower the cost of state filing. I believe that with the money you lose per filer will be made up twofold in additional users.

this was as always the best tax help in the world as I have used it for 20+ years both in biz and for my own use turbo as long as you keep up with all of the fed info will always be the best

I found it kind of hard to get through the income section and the deduction section. If you only have one or two sources of income, and very little deductions you should be able to select the standard deduction.

Good, not perfect

I always come back to TurboTax although I have tried other programs. I do wish they would add a version for Stock traders that came handle Wash Sales better. Intuit why don't you buy "Tradelog" so I won't have to buy two software packages every year to do my taxes.
