A Little Slippage

In the past, I'd have given TurboTax four or five stars. This year, I ran into trouble and confusion with two sections: K-1 forms and depreciation of part of the rental property. In all fairness, the K-1 troubles may have been caused by the Limited Partnership organizations who made out the K-1 form; I simply could not find anywhere the info requested for the Section 59(e)(2) worksheet.
With the depreciation of the rental condo, I was told in the error check section that I had the wrong class for the rental real estate asset. It kept telling me to delete that asset or to override something, a tasks that I had no idea of how to do. A little more clear direction here would have helped.
In general, however, it turned out to be another good year with TurboTax. You have my sympathy, however, with that Limited Partnership stuff.
